A Supportive Hug

Hospital & Law Enforcement Support

With this initiative, our goal is to provide as much support as possible for clients. By providing proper direction and access to the right resources, we can ensure survivors are empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to make safe, informed decisions. We stand with survivors every step of the way—from the hospital, to the police station, and through the court system. Click below to learn more about our support services.

Youth

Our service population includes Lee, Macon, Chambers, Russell, Randolph and Tallapoosa counties of Alabama, where there is a high number of high school and college-aged individuals—a population that is at an increased risk of experiencing sexual violence.

We are now offering interpretation for our services.

We have interpretation available for speakers of languages other than English. If you need this service, please let us know.

Prevention Education

Our Prevention Educator and interns work hard to educate children and community members on consent, bystander intervention, sexual violence, and more to foster a well-informed and inclusive community. Learn more about how RCEA works with schools and other organizations here.

Community Outreach

Through our Community Outreach services, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Rape Counselors of East Alabama, and a source of much success for our non-profit organization.
